How much time do you spend a day or two before your exam making sure you study the last few years of recently released questions?  I have 2005 through 2009 now basically gives me 250 questions to prep.  I have studied them quite a bit the day or 2 right before the test and I think it helps me quite a bit as I have passed 2 parts now.  Just wondering what others thoughts are on using these as a study aide?

If it works, it works. That sums up my thoughts.

I wouldn't use those questions because the nature and difficulty of those questions won't in many cases be mirrored on the actual exam. Also the answers to some of them is based on outdated information (for example, I recently encountered a problem in which goodwill was amortized, which obviously is no longer the case).

But it's doing you well; you're passing the exams with it. No arguing with that.

Practicing questions is always good preparation for the exam, just make sure they aren't based on outdated information.  I worked on the AICPA 2008/2009 released questions about a week before the exam to gauge how well I could do on questions that were fresh to me.  It is helpful at least to just put things in perspective for you.
