When you guys do the research tab and get multiple results, is it better to start with results with FAS in their names rather than things like I27, T10, FIN, APB, etc since the FAS items would be more "up to date?"  A lot of Becker's solutions to the research tabs have 2 possible solutions...  That makes me think that on the real exam, there are sometimes more than 1 answer?

I'm never 100% confident with my research answers. Here are some things I've found helpful.

a) Select 'Short' from the view drop down menu. (saves time I think)
b) If confused between a couple of sources, look at the dates and go with the latest.
c) Go through Becker Updates on research tabs. They've explained how to go about it pretty nicely in there.

I've heard from people who took the exam before me that this is the first tab you should try to answer because its easy points. Any inputs anyone?

I usually answer it last, just because I've heard it is only worth one point.  When I plan my time budget pre-exam I usually intend to spend no more than five minutes on any research question.  If time were to permit in the actual examination, however, you may be able to spend more time.

I've always thought that it was most important to write an effective communication when it comes to the sims, just because it was more heavily weighted.

I always do the memo first by using the research tab to help me write it since its worth 10 points.
