Happy new year everyone!!!  I am planning to take far in January.  I haven't had any academic background in consolidation, partnership, government and non-profit accounting.  Can someone please tell me how much should I study on these four topics?  How many hours should I spend studying these four topics?  Thank you.

How long you need to study depends on how well you study, so it's hard to say.  Study the chapters until you're getting approx 70-80% correct on the MCs.  Gov't and NPO make up 20% of the exam, so if you're short on time I would focus on those and just try to have a broad understanding of consolidations and partnerships.

On the test I took on 1/9, gov't/NFP was tested pretty good so definitely focus on those topics.

hi venugopal,

government and not for profit make up at least 20% of the exam and also tested heavily. so please prepare well on this both area.
