I'm new to this forum and just starting to study for the VA-CPA.  My plans are to take the FAR/BEC exam during the July/Aug and the AUD/REG exam during Oct/Nov.  It is my desire to be pass on the first try and be completed by the first of the year.

I joined this site to find a study group/person located in or near Woodbridge, VA.  I'm planning to self-study and use the Wiley books and e-prep for online testing.  I'm wondering if there are others that are taking this route as well.

I am open to opinions and/or suggestions that will help me in my quest.
