I have my exam on Aug 31. I must honestly say that with this section I have lost it completely...my sanity and confidence. I will finish my review of chapters 1 through 6 using becker by this tuesday. Will begin chapter 7 on Aug 2 and wrap up govt F8 and F9 by august 10. leaving me 20 days for a final review. Why do I feel as if I'm not prepared at all for this exam unlike other sections I walked in confident. What's discouraging is how I go back to chapters in which at the time I understand and done well and then weeks later forget certain calculations or the easiest theory question. Then thoughts start to come into my mind what if I cant pass this section after all this time I invested and all the dissapointment my family will have. I know I should not be thinking this way because I'm 75 percent done but I am human and sometimes we think what if. I'm going to try my best on Aug 31 I just think I will need to continue studying even after Aug 31 until I receive my results just in case I failed. Sorry for the negative attitude I just have a lot of pressure due to having no income and being laid off because I did not take the exam while being employed due to many reason which I do not want to get into. I been out of school since 2001 and struggled in school with financial accounting mostly because of the anguage barrier. I guess is time to stop the doubts and just go in these next 37 days and leave my heart out on the table. I wish you all luck. Thanks for taking time out to read this.

CPAEVER2010,

I think I'm in a exact same situation as you are in.  FAR is my last part of this long journey and I'm also reviewing ch. 6 and probably will be done with the first round of review using Becker by next weekend.  I also have so much pressure with this exam as you have.  I've been out of school since 03 and had all these time to study but I didn't and now I'm studying with two kids (33months and 7 months old).  My parents are watching the kids whild I'm studying and it's been a year since I started studying for the exam and I feel like I put everyone in family on burden because of this and I feel that I'm obligated to pass this last part on my first try.  But what is really frustrating is that just like you said everytime I go back to the previous chapters to review I feel like I forget even those very simple formulas and theory that I should know and I just want to scream out so loud.  I'm also unemployed right now and under the financial debt, especially after the little one was born my expenses have gone up so much.  Sorry, when I read your post I felt that I was exactly in your shoes and could totally agree to what you were saying.  Let's study hard for the next 37 days and pass this test!!! We must pass!!!!!!!

Same here (overwhelmed and unemployed), except I'm taking it in 4 days. Here are my thoughts: I have no room in my head for entertaining any "what if" situations. I need every bit of space for all this
info. Panic only keeps me up at night and after studying all day, there is no productivity that can be squeezed out of a few hours of insomnia. Your best effort is your best effort, so no regrets. If it's not
enough to pass, then I just guess a larger quantity of best effort is required. And I will look at it as only one simple mistake which is that I didn't realize exactly how much time I required to study for
this particular test. How can anyone really know the perfect amount of time they will need for each of these exams anyway? Just keep going. Don't run out of steam until you've accomplished what you
want and don't worry about all the things that are beyond your control. Good luck to you both. It will all work out, we just don't know exactly when. Soon would be nice. Real soon would be great.

I feel exactly the same way!!  We can get through this.  I take FAR in 3 days and I don't feel completely ready.  I have been studying since May 22nd (The day I graduated from Gradate School).  All you can do is give it all you have which I am certain we all here will do.  You have already proven that by passing 3 sections thus far.  Do you know how impressive that is?  You will be ok and if you don't, you will get back up and conquer it!  You have come this far.  I am trying to take my own advice as well.. ;)< id="gwProxy" ="">< ="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" ="">
