Anyone that has taken FAR and studied with Becker:

How does the difficulty of the Becker Passmaster questions and the Becker Final Exam questions compare with the actual FAR exam?

For example, I know that for BEC, I felt that the Becker questions were WAY harder than the actual exam. For REG, I felt that they were comparable (but actual exam scoring was more lax). For AUD, they felt comparable as well.

I did only the MC on FAR on Becker's final exam and got (if I remember correctly) a 58, 78, 66 on the three testlets. This was a day before the exam and I ended up with an 80 on the exam. I felt like the Becker questions were pretty consistently tough all the way through. The exam had more fluctuation where there were some ridiculously easy questions and then some questions that I never even found an answer for.

They really weren't much different than any other test so figure on them being pretty comparable to the test questions, if not just slightly harder.

I'd say they are far more difficult on Becker. Which is a good thing, becuase if you can get a 70-80% proficiency on Becker, the actual exam will be a breeze. The only issue is, the Passmaster software questions will have questions that are, for the most part, covered in the book. In reality, becuase this is a prep course, its objective isn't to ensure full coverage. I only wish they would have questions outside the scope of Becker material - even to just to give candidates a heads up (but i can see the phone ringing off the hook, with freaked out students asking "i got this questions but can't find it in the text"). I think this might be the biggest surprise for first timers thinking they have all their bases covered.

I just got practically the same scores on Becker Final 1, so hopefully I'm in good shape w/ a week to study.

I averaged 65% on the first Becker Final, and 71% on the second Becker Final. Got 93 on the actual. Becker was way harder, and the curve I am sure helped too!
