I am planning to sit for FARE on 19th or 20th of May. I started studying from April 11th. Do you think that much time would be ok to prepare? Till now I am done with F1 and F2 and working on F3.

I have a question for exam day. since we are not allowed to take anything on the exam day. Do they give blank papers for calculation and rough work. or we have to use spreadsheet to do the rough calculations, if this is the case then it is killing me. I am much more comfortable in jotting down on the paper. Any real expereince? Please share.

I'm assuming you are using Becker to prepare.  I would allow yourself a good two weeks to review everything and as you move foward continue to review the old material.  I'm planning on sitting for the second time on Thursday for FAR and the biggest mistake I made the first time around was not reviewing the information over and over again.  Since there is so much information it's really easy to forget things that you originally felt you had nailed down.  That's my experience atleast.

GreenCpa,

Thanks for sharing your experience. Yes, I am using Becker. Please let me know how the second test for FAR goes. I appreciate.

can anyone tell me if the spreadsheet functionality as found in the becker's homework problems is the same as what we have on the exam? it is basically an excel sheet with limited user-friendliness.

thanks!
