Hi, I need some help and advise since I am writing my FAR
soon. I have been using the 2010 Becker study material
and I don't have the 2011 course CD.

I only got the update(PDF/TEXT only) from Becker through
the following link.
https://beckerkb.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/363
/session/L3NpZC9Ic05pS1pGaw%3D%3D

For IFRS:
Are those 2011 update(Text/PDF) be enough to cover the
exam?

For Simulation:
Are the 2010 review materials (2010 becker final review)
good enough for those 7 Task-based simulation?

I really appreciate your help and thank you in advance.

It should be fine, most offs questions are theory. Just look through the
text and u should be fine. As for the sims, I have not heard a sim with
ifrs so far so you should be fine. Good luck,

Thanks for your response.

For those 7 Task based simulation (correct me if i am
wrong)
Old simulation questions = long simulation
New Task based question = short simulation (Journal
Entry, fill in the blank)

Is it good enough if I only study 2010 simulations
questions/problem?

Right, the tbs are just the tabs from the original 2 sims, when I took it
it was all j/e, half of the tbs I had no idea and guessed. I studied the
chapters but as most people say, the tbs they can ask you anything.
So study the material and practice the sims on your 2010 software
and you should be in pretty good shape.

Can you jump from tab to tab (7 sims) so you can choose what sim to do first? or you have to do them all in order and you can not go back to the 1st sim for example?
