Does anyone here know if there is an online resource anywhere that shows what states only require 1 year of experience if you have a masters degree? I think its most states, but I want to determine if the states I'm interested in allow this.
I already have 1 year of public accounting and really was not a fan of auditing. Thus I know work at a University and like it so much better. However, I just finished my CPA exam and have been assuming I'd need to go back to public for a year.... however, I got to thinking that since I can do my MBA part time for free it may be best for me to stay here and just do that (since I already have 1 year experience). Any thoughts? Does this limit me? I think a CPA MBA would be more valuable then just one more year of public and I have no desire to get high in a public firm (hate the job).
Thanks!
Ryan
