For those in Florida, does this need to be done to get a license? You mean, I've got to take another test??!!

If so, what is the scoop. How can I find out more about this?

Yes, you have to take another test but don't worry, it doesn't even begin to approach the difficulty of the first 4.  Its open book and the questions tell you which section to look in for the answer.  I think its only 20 MCQs.  Easy.

Forgot to mention that the hardest part about it is getting the stupid state board to mail it to you after you pass your final section.  I received a passing score on my final section in June.  Received my ethics exam in the mail in late August.  Immediately took it and sent it back and just recently (last 2 weeks) have received my license.  Bastards take their sweet time.

Congrats on the license, first off!

Secondly, the board in FL does leave MUCH to be desired in terms of speed. But, in their defense, the state budget is so tight that many of the processors have likely been laid off.

I had to do some major "brown nosing" to get my initial application to test approved in a timely manner.

I know this thread is old, but I would like to know what the secret is to getting approved to take the exam in Fla.  I have been waiting since October.
