Hi all -

Found out I passed this weekend, what a relief! In order to get the bonus at our firm, I need to first complete the ethics exam. My question is, what is the normal wait time after passing that you are allowed to take it? Any way to speed this process up?

Any input is appreciated, thanks!

I'm in Maryland, so I don't know if it is different for you. But I didn't wait at all. As soon as I found out I passed (or the next day), I ordered the study at home CD from the AICPA website. I got the materials maybe 4 days later. That Sunday then I took the test, entered my answers online, and got my score. It was pretty painless and quick, for me at least.

I am from Maryland as well. Do you know if you have to even wait to pass all the exams before doing the Ethics part? Also, what is the actual home CD you ordered from the website? The Maryland board website is so unclear on what exactly you need to get from the AICPA site. Thanks!

You can call your state board and ask all those questions. It is even safer, I
think.
