I am creating this new topic to summarize which states requires or does not require Ethics exam.

I am hoping that this would help some CPA candidates to determine if they need to take AICPA ethics exam.

PA - Not required
NY - Not Required
DE - Required
VA - Required

Dokim - I am also PA registered and i noticed you have an ethics grade but say that it is not required in your post above - is this true?  Do you have a source of where i can find out that there is not an ethics requirement for PA?

Thanks for your help and good luck - I'm also waiting for FAR as my last exam!

I am planning to apply to either DE or NY for CPA license where I seem to be qualified once I am done with the exam.  I am not qualified in PA as I do not have any auditing experiences.

Check below for the PA form.  I do not see any reference to the ethics exam requirement in the CPA application form for PA.

Thanks and good luck to you too.
