Hi

My education is 3 years of undergrad work & I have passed the CPA exam (DE board). But I want to be licensed in NJ.

NJ has bachelor's+150 hour requirement. My total coursework is 125 hours, out of which 41 hours in accounting & 37 in business.

Can I take courses from community colleges to fulfill the remaining hours ? Can I take any course, like, quickbooks certification for example.

Thanks

Check with the board; but, I don't think they will accept your application without US bachelors degree+30 graduate credit. I believe all qualifying credits should come from a four-years college.

Good luck

Dear snjn,

You will need the 150 credit hours to be licensed in NJ. A US bachelors degree is not an issue as long as ECE credit evaluators can certify your education.

Hope this helps.
