hi,

I have passed all 4 sections of CPA exam in Colorado. I am currently living in TX and working under a TX CPA. I want to transfer my credits to TX. I read through the TX board rules and they say that transfer of credits is possible only from a state having same or higher requirements.
Has any transferred credits from CO?
What is the other option I have?
Any help will be highly appreciated..!!

Thanks in advance

Hey ,

I just got my license from TX. I am a CA from India. I dont have 150 hrs. I got license in CO after one year public accounting experience. Then I moved to TX. Here in TX I worked for one more year under CPA firm. Totally I have more than four years public accounting experience.

I applied to TX under reciprocal rule. You should either have 150 hrs OR four year public acounting experience. One of those will qualify you for a reciprocal TX license.

Hope this helps.

TX does not need you to have a Texas license as long as you work under a TX CPA Firm.

If you wan to practice in Texas you may need a license.
