I have passed all four parts of the CPA exam.  I just ordered the Ethics Exam book and plan to take the AICPA Ethics Exam soon.

On average, how much studying does it take to pass this exam?  Could I study, take it, and pass all in one day if I free up the entire day to focus?  Or does it take several days worth of studying and review?

Please share your thoughts.  I am not sure how much time I should plan to set aside in order to pass this exam.

OK, so I just took this thing today and so I'll answer my own post above for those whom it might benefit.

First, to those out there who are procrastinating taking this exam: JUST GET IT DONE.  It is VERY EASY - does not compare in any way to the CPA Exam in difficulty.

I was able to study and pass the entire thing in 1 day with a score of 100%.  Took me about 6 hours in total.  Trust me, if I can do this, ANYONE can do this.

Did you get the textbook or the e-book?

People take advantage of the search function in the e-book to take the exam. However, I wouldn't mind reading the entire ethic textbook if it takes six hours.

They gave me 2 options: the hard copy textbook, or the e-book. They suggested I get the hard copy, as I could make my notes in the book while studying, plus I would have the hard copy book for my reference in the future.  So I got the textbook, and took the test online.

Based on my experience, I don't think one of the formats would necessarily make the exam any easier than the others.  It's just such a simple test that regardless of your approach, you should find it very easy.  Especially after taking the regular CPA exam.
