Hi,

Does anyone know how I can get my former employer to sign off on my papers?  I emailed them but not getting a response.  Anyone's in a similar situation?  Thanks.

Try calling.  Or stop in, form in hand.

I ran into the same situation and just continued to pester them periodically and tried to convey that it is their professional duty to fill out the form and submit it.  Not sure what exactly it took but they eventually , (after an annoying amount of time) submitted it to state.  I would just continue to call email etc..  Good Luck.

Dear Audit_or_Tax,

Don't give up ever !

Call them, email them, meet with them if possible.

And keep on doing all this again and again till you get it. Don't ever be rude, just kindly pester them until they give you the statement of experience to get you out of their lives.

Hope this helps.

PS this is exactly what I did and it got me results.

Thank you guys! They're going to sign it!  I did take your advice, I kept annoying them with my emails/calls and they finally acknowledged my request.  Super happy.  I'm gonna be a CPA!!!
