Can anyone on here reccommend (from actual experience) - how the went about satisying the "didactic instruction" (i.e. in person, or interactive telephonic or electronic instruction) portion of the requirement.
In NJ - of the 120 CPEs at least 60 of them need to be didactic. For those individuals no longer in the public accounting world (wow - who would have thought I would miss anything there lol) what is the best way/CPE 'offeror' for live classes.
Thanks in advance.
** I am also finding NJ regulations regarding the 120CPE requirement extremely difficult to interpret
“A licensee shall not be required to satisfy the requirements of 120CPEs for the initial renewal of his/her license but shall be required to satisfy the requirements of 120CPEs as a condition for triennial license renewal for all subsequent triennial renewal periods.”
Anyone know what this means - I passed the exam in May 2009 and was licensed September 2009. In NJ the triennial period runs 1/2009 to 12/2011. I can't tell if the above means I do or do not need 120CPEs for my "first" renewal ~ 1/2012.
I will be calling - as well as sending an email to the NJ Board tomorrow morning for further clarity.
