I successfully passed all 4 sections of the CPA exam last year. I worked 10 months as an auditor at an accounting firm, then moved onto a private-sector accounting job and have been working here for 3 months now. My current manager is a CPA, so she can sign off.

How do I go about getting my work experience verified? Do I contact my previous employer and tell them to sign off on 10 months worth of experience and then have my current employer sign off on the balance? I'm not exactly sure how it would work.

I am in NJ.

I am in a similar situation. You would have to get both to sign off since the requirement is one year (in the aggregate).
