I am trying to schedule my BEC test and it looks like the earliest I can take it is in January 2009 in Georgia? Can this be right? Is this happening to anyone else in Georgia?

It depends on where you take the exam. You can take the exam at any testing center. It does not even have to be in your state. Try looking at other testing centers. I live in MD, but I took FAR in WV.
