Almost all states in US require a masters level degree to
do CPA. You may take some community college courses and use
them as credits or do some other preparatory courses.
Please contact the CPA boards of Colorado, Delaware and
Michigan where the Indian degrees are considered in
favorable light. You may also get in touch with the
Illinois board to know about their reqs - since that is
your state of residence. Best of luck!
The first step is to determine if you may already be eligible for one of the
states, this would depend on which university you attended and what your
average marks were. If you were, you could physically sit for the exam in
Illinois but you would be an exam candidate for this other state.
