Dear all,
I have applied for sitting for CPA in Guam since according to their website published policy, you need a baccalaureat degree to sit for the exam without mentioning the subject you have taken. You need 24 hours on Accounting + 24 hours on Business to be eligible for certification and licensing.
I have a B.A. and a MBA: thus enough hours on Business but not enough for Accounting. I am aware of this and I just want to pass the exam and add some credits to my CV.
I invested in the Becker course and my preparation goes well. I sent out the exam application a week ago and I got some feedback from the Board that even for exam I need the 24 accounting hours ... It is not yet confirmed but I am really worried now.
Is my English so poor that I misunderstood their policy? What should I do now? Does it mean without 24 accounting hours I could sit for exam in nowhere?
Desperately looking forward to some insights from you.
Many thanks!
