Hi Everyone

I will be in Salt Lake City, UT from Jan End to Jan 2010, I will be on On-the-Job training during this period and its mandatory for me to take up Enrolled Agent (EA) exam, Also I want to use this time to complete CPA exam. So how do i go about becoming a CPA? I have done Bachelor of Commerce from Bangalore, India. So what extra exams do i need to take before taking the CPA exam? My company will re-imburse all expenses relating to the course if i complete it in first attempt. I have heard about the Becker course... So please guide me to become a CPA.

Thanks

Hi Chethancj,
B.com from India is not equivalent to U.S.B.S and so u r eligible to sit either for Delaware or Vermont. First, send your transcripts to one of the evaluation companies and submit to the board. Then, you may start preparing by using any course package. You may visit this free website www.cpareview4free.com to get an idea about the exam paper.

U guys have to be very carefull as De4leware and Vermont are one tier states and will not give you a liscence untill you have practiced under a CPA.
