I need some advice.I cleard BEC and REG first try's and got decent scores in 80's.Then Audit happened.I have taken it 3 times and failed every time.my score has been 72, 71 and 68 this time.My credits expired and now I am back to square one. Now, I have to take all 4 exams..What do I do?

Should I leave it,and do something else.Or should I continue cause I invested 2 years in it??pls help.

You may want to consider doing something else.  Whether it be switching the test prep material or deciding that a CPA is no longer something you wish to pursue, something definitely needs to change.  Pursuing a CPA takes a tremendous amount of time and money.  I would seriously and honestly assess my chances of being able to pass the next time around.

So what?  This is not college.  A failing grade does not haunt you for the rest of your life.  A non-passing grade just means that you get to take the AUD exam again.

The most important thing to know is what you do not know.  If you cannot write your problem on the back of a business card, you do not know your problem.  Can you verbalize why you failed AUD?  What would you change in your study methodology?

There are no failures in this CPA game.  There are only people who quit.  Do not be one of them.  No one will care how many times you took AUD.  All they will care about is if you are a CPA.

You did not waste the last two years studying.  You have a very good base for passing.  If I were you, I would jump back on the horse.  (I failed FAR with a 68 on my first try and I am now at it again.)

Believe in yourself and in God.  Discouragement does not come from God.  Hope does come from God!  "Commit what you do to the Lord and your plan will succeed (Proverbs 16:3)"

Take advantage of the situation.  The clock is not ticking!  That is an advantage.  I see that you did not take FAR.  FAR is the big one.  I would give myself 6 months to study for FAR.  Buy Yaeger Home Study, Bisk Hot Spots and beg, borrow or steal a Becker book.  Take notes!  Jump immediately into AUD after taking the FAR exam.  Do yourself a favor. Try some different study materials for AUD and take notes.

Good Luck and God Bless. Your only job is to answer questions on the exam.  It is not your job to think about your scores.  You can do this!

I can understand how frustrated you are, but Jerry is right! You only fail when you give up!! And you are getting so close. Maybe you just need something to supplement your review process. And in the CPA exam, 75 will mean just as much as 99 does to an employer. Keep going. Don't let all the time you have spent go to waste! I believe you can do it!

You might want to study FAR prior to taking AUD.
