Somewhat hypothetical question here that could possibly happen to me.

I live on the border of the Florida panhandle, and my current target job area is the Florida panhandle, and thus I will begin sitting for the FL CPA exam in July.  I lost my job last fall, therefore I am trying to do all I can to boost my resume.  If however, I am unable to land a job in the panhandle, I am keeping my eyes open for a few cities in Alabama.

Currently, I lack 6 months work experience in both states to be licensed.  From my understanding it isnt very difficult to transfer a license between the two states.  Basically my question is this:  If I pass all 4 parts in Florida, but land a job in Alabama, can I have an Alabama CPA sign the Florida form stating I worked under them and obtain my Florida license and then transfer it back into Alabama?

I hope I didnt ramble, or make my situation unclear.  Thanks for taking the time to read this, I do appreciate the help.

Yes an active Alabama CPA can sign your work experience for your license according to DBPR. You may want to call them to be on the safe side.   http://www.myflorida.com/dbpr/cpa/licensure.html

Did you already apply in FL?  I live in South FL and I'm taking it with AL, just because they have their act together.  They are a two-tier state and they're not in the middle of changing the rules.  I think they want two years work, though, and they release scores later than other states.
