C S Murthy,

There are many indians who study in india till graduation and then move on to CPA.

What you have to do is send all the notarized photocopies of all your certificates right from 10th standard till TYBcom and any further qualification if you have, along with application fee and application for NTS to the board you are applying to.

If you do not have a qualification higher than b.com, you might have to do some additional course to get the required amount of credit hours for registration.

Considering the information you provided, I would advise you to register under the state of Delaware after doing an additional course in tax accounting (online course).

Hope this helps.

Hi Apurva,

I am B.com. grauate from Gujarat University, India. Also passed LLB. 3 Semisters (1.5 yrs.), Also passed 1st group of Inter C.A. and completed 3 years' articleship required by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Also, I have more than 15 years' work experience as an Accountant and Manager in 4 countries (India, Dubai, Guinea, Russia). I know Gujarati, Hindi, English, French and little bit Russian languages.

Can I get enough credits required for CPA exam?

For this, which evaluator is better in my case?

Which state board I shouls select?

I am in PA state, USA now.

Please guide me.....Thanks in advance

Manoj,

Glad to know you. Well the thing here is, apart from BCom, no other complete/incomplete degrees that you have can get you the required amount of credit hours in accounting. I do not think experience matters when it comes to eligibility for examination. So what you can do here, is opt for Delaware State.
Do an online Federal Taxation course from any recognized community college.
Get all the credentials evaluated from FACS.
Apply for the NTS with Delaware State Board.
Take the exam (from wherever you are in the USA)

If you need any more help from my end, do let me know.

I hope this helps.

Thank you very much Apurva.....

How about WES evaluation? Do they give any score for LLB and CA 1st group?  Sorry to refine the same Q. again. Just because I have no contact for any advice, I am trying to clear my doubts from you. Excuse me please.....

Also, as per your advice, Should I go for Federal Texation course first and than for evaluation? Or I can start evaluation process first? Ultimately when can I apply for CPA exam? For which month?

Thanks in advance
