HI, I am from India, and am a post graduate with experience in Taxation
for about one year.I have completed my CMA but do not have the required work experience to gain the certification .And had applied from Delaware state board before my CMA to write for the CPA Exam in 2006
but due to some hassles I could not proceed further, I had also got my
NTS Then in 2006 for the exam but , Like I said, I could not proceed
further, I would like to know which state should I give the exam now.
Many told me that Since I had already evaluated my self before and had
already was eligible I can apply through Delaware with no problem. And
for the certification what is the period of time required for
certification from Delaware or will I get a license? and Can appear
through Delaware Now? Please help me out

I had my evaluation done before december 2005 and had applied for NTS to the Delaware state board which was valid from Jan to Jun so I guess I had registered before jan 1 2006....

If you registered with Delaware board of accountancy prior to Jan. 2006, you are eligible for the certificate. You just need to pass the ethics exam. Just fill out the "Application for Certificate" form below: http://dpr.delaware.gov/boards/accountancy/newcertificate.sh tml
For the license, you need 1-4 years of work experience (depending on your education level) under the supervision of an active CPA.
