Everything about how the exam is administered and graded is clouded in mystery. Except for BEC, the FAR, AUD, and REG exams is adaptive. One would have to have access to the same pool of questions and the point value assigned to the different MCQs to be able to simulate conditions comparable. In addition, there is an element of randomness that is involved as well. So it is not possible.

I used Becker and I think that is pretty comparable. I've seen a few others and was not very happy with the software. Becker atleast gets you familiar with the software application used by the examiners, with slight differences.

clearcpa1: I believe you want to practice an exam and be timed just like you would be in the testing room, correct?? If so, you can go to www.wiley.com/cpa and sign up for their online ePrep course. Within that course you can create testlets for yourself. You can simulate one testlet or an entire exam. You can also create tests for yourself by topic. The topics for each section are listed and it shows you how many questions are available for that topic.  I think the cost is $99/month or 6 months for $299. Alot of the questions are the same or similar to those in the Wiley book but I liked being able to simulate an exam (it even times you) and review the correct answers after each test.  There is a diagnostic page also that keeps track of all your tests and lets you know how you are doing in each topic (not section...topic per section). You can say, "I want a 15 question testlet in deferred taxes only" or "give me a 30 question testlet of random questions" or "3 exam testlets". You can create a test in "study" mode (study mode gives you hints) or "exam" mode (no hints) but only the "exam" testlets are submitted to the diagnostics page.
I use the Wiley books and Yaeger Cram but I always sign up for the Wiley ePrep 30 days before my exam.  This way I can create practice tests but I only have to pay for ONE month of their service at a time (which you can stop/restart as needed).  Check it out...this might be what you are looking for.
Wiley ePrep also has simulations that you download to your computer so even if you are not "in service" at the time...you can still access their simulations.
Good luck!

Gleim has free full exams that you can take: one for each section.
