Hi my name is Nicole and I have received my NTS. I plan to sit for FAR sometime in mid-April. I was wondering if you guys would recommend setting the date ASAP as not to procrastinate/put off studying, or look at my progress and set the date then. thanks

Set the date soon.  Two biggest reasons is because depending on the area that you live, the times fill in fast.  The site closest to my house has no opennings at all for the weekends in April and the last couple of weekends in May.  Additionally, by setting the date now, it may make you more accountanble for sticking to your study plan.

nszamrej,

You have an advantage that you can take FAR anytime April through May.  I suggest completing your review program at least once and then set the date.

After you finish the review program, assess your confidence with the material, set the date, and prepare your final review.  The worst thing you can do is rush yourself and go into the exam feeling unprepared.  This is FAR after all, arguably the most difficult of all sections that covers the largest amount of material.
