Hi everyone,

Which state requires the fewest accounting and business courses to be eligible to take the CPA exam?

Maine?

Maine seems to only require 150 credits with NO accounting/bus classes.

New Hampshire?

I searched the forums and NH seems to be popular too...

Thank you!

J

You should check out Alaska. There you can already apply to take the exam when ur 18 hours shy of ur Bachelor's. However, they do require some accounting courses.

BUT if you wanna be licensed in a different state than Maine, you will have to meet this state's educational requirements.
