Hi,
Need some suggestions...
I live in NJ. My educational qualifications were completed outside the U.S. So got them evaluated by ECE.
Obtained a B.Sc. (Hons) from University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting from CIMA, UK. Both combined I have 178 semester hours of credit which includes 42 hrs in Accounting, 36 hrs in Business Studies and 6 hrs in Business Law. But my degree is a three year degree. So ECE will not consider it equivalent to a U.S degree. Therefore NJ board says that I am not eligible to sit for the exams. I cannot do another a degree for the sake of it. Inquired about doing Masters...way too expensive. (Currently not working)
Any ideas on any other states that I can try? Since I live closer to NY that might be a option. But does residency rule apply?
