can you do this to put on your resume by adding the accounting classes to your classes from your ACCT GPA from your school where you graduated from? I need 1 more A to get my gpa from a 2.9 to a 3.0 and would like to take the forensic accounting class to do that. When I get the A can i include it myself and put down i have an ACCT GPA of a 3.0?

I don't see why you can't add LSU classes to your GPA. They are college courses. I will be adding them to my GPA.

Hi,

I would not do that. Your GPA from your degree is what it is and should not be changed (if it's below 3.3 don't even bother putting it on the resume). If you took additional courses after your degree that are for-credit but not for-degree, place it in a seperate section from your college degree. For example:

Education:

XYZ University

B.S. in Accounting, June 2008

Louisiana State University (Courses in intermediate/cost accounting etc.), GPA 4.0

In sum, feel free to combine non-degree credit courses GPA, but leave your undergrade (or grad) degree GPA the way it would appear on the transcript.

hope this helps.
