help needed here

i am currently a student of A-Levels Accounting and Economics from pakistan,there after my A-Levels i would like to start with CPA,my querry is are there institutions which prepare students for the CPA examinations in Washington DC USA,so would it be easy for me to enroll in cpa papers!

The first step is to make sure that you are eligible to sit for the CPA exam in
at least one of the states. The minimum requirement is a two year diploma
in accounting. Once you are eligible there are a number of companies that
provide preparation/study materials to help you pass the exam.

Does any one know how much credit is given for A'levels and ACCA qualification towards registering for CPA Exam?

I had recently has evaluation from WES and they only give 4 semester credits for each ACCA paper.

Please note that my comments posted in October, 2010 need to be amended
to reflect changes in state eligibility rules. Candidates require at least a four
year degree in order to be eligible to sit for the U.S. CPA exam now.
