I have what is probably a dumb question, but I blame it on the fact that my undergraduate degree is in Biology and I've just recently started an MAcc program, so my knowledge is still somewhat limited in regards to the CPA exam.

I know that to sit for the exam in Virginia, you need 150 credits (done), 24 credits of which need to be in accounting and 24 credits which need to be in general business courses. My question is: Would marketing courses count towards the general business course requirement needed to sit for the exam? I ask because at my school, Marketing is kind of a shared department between the Business School and the Mass Comm school. And I've already taken a Concepts in Marketing course and am enrolled in another one for the upcoming semester (and would like to know if they actually count for something...).

Thanks for the help!
