Sonal, you are right to start with getting the credits evaluated. Where you are short to meet Delaware requirements, you can pick up community college hours in New York (there are many of the community colleges) and there are even a few online courses available (but I only did the community college method and didn't take anything online). Then, in my opinion, to pass everything on the first try, you will need to pay for a review course. You will have several options and they vary in price and quality. Lastly, accounting is a very stable profession, and if you have other life experience from your prior life, that will help you stand out as a job candidate. An expensive option (and I'm only mentioning this in case money is no object) is to get accepted into a highly ranked MACC program (master's degree in accounting) to kill all of the birds with one stone plus get a leg up for Big4 internship. Otherwise it will be very unlikely to break into Big4. But maybe that's not important to you, so no worries. Good luck and keep lurking the forum here!
