I just reached the 150 credit hour requirements and I know I want to sit for
parts of the exam this year. Do you think its wise to start studying while I am
still in the application process?

Have a game plan in terms of the order of the exams before
you apply. Once you take the first exam, your 18 month
clock starts ticking. You would be well advised to start
studying for your 1st exam while you are waiting for your
NTS.
