Hey Guys and Gals,

I am in the last innings of my education, and was
thinking towards the CPA exam.

I looked at the Ohio CPA site about what requirements
they have, and they just say 150 semester credits, 30
actg credits, and 24 in business credits.

That's real vague. This is what I'll have:

Financial Actg (4)
Managerial Actg (4)
Int. I (4)
In.t II (4)
Fed Income Tax (4)
Cost (3)
Business Tax (4)
Actg Info Systems (3)
Auditing (4)
Capstone Actg (4)

Business:
Marketing (4)
Business Mgmnt (3)
Business law (3)
Econ (6)
Leadership (4)
Excel (3)
Bus. Comm. (4)

My 150 credit hours come from three schools:

71 - State University
49- Local Community College (also half my actg and Bus)
60- Private College (Finished Bachelor's)

Does any of this sounds like it wouldn't be accepted? Do
you see any roadblocks ahead?

I would appreciate any thoughts you may have on this!

Thanks guys and gals!

Bean

I am sorry that I don't have an answer but I also have a
similar situation (4 different schools totaling 151
credits). I am also wondering if anyone has experience
with this?

I studied in 2 different universities but the education credit evaluators had no issue with that. My suggestion would be to ascertain whose evaluation is acceptable to the Board you wish to choose and correspond with them and when the response is clear, then take it forward by sending the transcripts and amount.

Passed B and F 04/11, R 08/11 and A 11/11. Best wishes.

You should be OK, note that as you have U.S. education you will not need to
use outside evaluators for your transcripts. You will need to ask your
schools to sent transcripts directly to the Ohio exam co-ordinator.
