It depends on the office and the region. The larger offices will have larger clients. Also the larger firms have more resources and invest more in training, technology. They may also have their own proprietary programs. Depending on your level and the teams, you may have limited contact with managers and partners.
The benefits of a bigger firm is that you are exposed to more complex transactions and issues that the larger companies out there are faced with. You make a lot of contacts throughout your time working at a larger firm and you also will work with a lot of bright people. The drawbacks are long hours, high expectations, less compassion, stressful work environment. Working for the Big 4 is not for everyone.
