I was wondering if anyone has had experience leaving (quitting) a big 4 and how did you go about doing so? I don't want to burn any bridges but cannot take it here any longer. I just received an offer from another company, not public accounting but just have to figure out the best way to quit.

tia!

There is always the Milton approach of burning down the building. Just make sure to take your stapler.

I don't see it like that at all. He or she can get any job now with "that" on the resume.

GoodLuck on your new endeavor.

I was also wondering how people handled quitting.  I feel like it would be hard if you liked your employer, cause you know they're gonna be pissed at you in most cases.
