i've used becker (not live) and bisk self study .  the bisk lectures and book don't coincide.  if you're using becker the lectures are essentially a rehash of the book so you know that you've gone through the entire textbook when you finish all lectures.  bisk has really good books with tons of questions which are more than sufficient (really wish my girlfriend didn't throw away those books)...both are very good and provide essentially the same information --- as long as you can get all the way through through either course you will be fine ... i, on the other hand, have not completed either program all the way through so my results are typical of someone who has

I used Bisk and it was phenomenal. Maybe a little weak on certain parts of BEC (information technology),
FAR (stock options and equity-based compensation arrangement accounting), and REG (corporate tax) but
every review course has its weaknesses. The books and supplementing questions are the core of the self-
study. The lectures are alright (Bob Monette and Ivan Fox are fantastic, the others are mediocre); I'd say
they are more helpful on nailing down topics you struggle with, but if you are already proficient in an area
then they don't really add anything. I'd highly recommend Bisk if you have a fairly strong accounting
background and have the discipline to adhere to a reasonable self-study plan. I can't complain with the
results and many of my co-workers have had success with Bisk as well. If you have any more specific questions
I'd be glad to help.
