Can anyone tell me what questions you asked during interviews that made a good impression? I have some pretty decent questions for managers or partners, but when I interview with someone from HR, I'm just baffled at what I'm suppose to ask them.
HR people are what they are....not very important in the grand scheme of
things.
I typically try to smile at/with them, and act interested in their life outside
of accounting....look for pictures on desk, etc to talk about....if not....
Ask them things that they know in and out, that also are long term type
things to make them "think" or know that you are in it for the long haul...
1. What kind of continuing education benefits does the firm offer it's
employees?
2. Does the firm offer fathers/mothers good paternity/maternity benefits?
I don't have any kids now but I plan to in the future....
3. What sort of benefits does the firm offer that people seem to really
appreciate and take advantage of? Besides medical/dental of course.
