like the title asked.I am interesting in knowing what to expect as an entry level auditor? I start in mid September at a Big 4 Member firm and I know the first two weeks training will be at said Big 4 which is located about 5 miles away . What are some of the task i can expect as a first year auditor

Auditing cash, and lots of it.
Making sure ending bank balance per final month in fiscal year and the
beginning bank balance per beginning month in next fiscal year match. Make
sure that outstanding checks and deposits in transit clear in the subsequent
month's bank statement. Make sure that the reconciled bank balance ties in
to the balance per the books.

--Pickup said dinner if it isn't being delivered

--Stuff envelopes for confirmations (I suppose this is included under "Cash")
