Could somebody suggest good textbooks in order to prepare for the cpa exam?

Becker is the Gold Standard.  It's also the most expensive.  The Big 4 firms and many other major firms provide Becker for their employees.

Yaeger is an excellent cost-effective alternative for folks who have to buy the review materials on their own.  Yaeger uses the Wiley books and helps you understand all the need-to-know material.

Of course, no one or two programs work best for everyone.  Please check out the Study Tools & Review Programs part of this website for discussions on all the major companies.

What is good and not expensive source for studying for each section. I prefer just the textbook. Also some software for practicing. This way is best for me.
Don't remember much, so need to start all over again.
