I am currently working in small cpa firm in MA, which mostly caters to Book keeping, taxes and few Non-Profit audits. I have put up to 2 yrs of experience both from my earlier firm and current firm. Passed CPA exams 3 yrs ago and waiting for my License(Applied recently). Over here we need to work around 2200 hrs per yr without any over time paid. Currently drawing 45k. Is this right salary??? Suggesstions are highly appreciated!!!

Thanks

It depends, in what area of MA do you work?

In this economy, I wouldn't even complain about that $45,000. That's about $44,000 more than what I bring in a month.

Thanks for this input. I felt finishing CPA should put me in better shoe. It seems due to current economic situation passing CPA does not do better.
