So, it's officially review time where I work. My boss set up a meeting with me to discuss my performance over the past year. However, my co-worker has not got a similar request inspite of she reminding my boss a couple of times. Not sure who should be worried. My co-worker or me? Oh, another co-worker who used to be in our team, but just recently moved also has a performance review meeting set up. I am stressing about this. Any thoughts?

I have my review coming up as well, so I'm worried about the same thing.. I am not expecting to hear good news.  Not because of my performance, but the number of non-billable hours I am incurring just sitting here..

At my current company that I joined less than a year ago, we had reviews a few months ago.  There had been talks about reviews a month before the actual reviews, then silence for 2 weeks, then a round of layoffs, silence for maybe 3 more weeks, then we were notified to set up a time to meet with one of the HR people for our reviews.  I guess if someone gets bad reviews and the company wants to fire them, the company will just fire them and not give a review.
