How long can one be unassigned before they get fired? Should I resign myself or wait? Please help!!

When they take work off your desk to "make a few changes,"
that's a sign you're getting fired the next day. Also, if
you e-mail supervisors for work and you don't get a reply
within a day, including "sorry I don't have anything for
you," you're probably getting fired soon.
