For tax purposes, organizational expenses include all those expenses involved in establishing the corporation where as the start up expenses include everything else such as: training, marketing, consulting, market research. Once these items have been elected they are amortized over 60 months.

Would fees paid to an exective search firm to a hire an employee qualify as start fees (tax purposes only)?

For financial purposes (GAAP), I would assume all these expense are expensed
as incurred?
