Couple of topics here. First, by taking the CPA exam in 2011 when they incorporate IFRS, do you think companies will recognize that you took the exam during this time frame, therefore, might hire you because of the IFRS knowledge that other employees might not have?
Second, will there be new jobs available a big 4/regions and all firms because of the IFRS? Seems that they will need experts or educated individuals to come in and start working on the new issues. We might see International Auditing/Tax entry level jobs?
Seems that firms will have to change some of its business model and incorporate new rules.
Could the IFRS rules mean a boom in the accounting profession?
