Non-profit 501(c)(4) company paid an officer $4,400. No one has ever been paid in years past and no one is planned to be paid in future. This organization is all voluntary work. The payment received was out of appreciation for all the Treasurer/President has done in the past. How would you treat this payment? Should it be a W-2 or 1099?
