I've been a practicing CPA for over 30 years. I have already e-filed several files using Lacerte with no problem. Do CPA's need to apply for FEIN numbers for 2012, even though I've been efiling for years? How about PTINS? I would think the FEIN requirement would only apply to new ERO's. Someone please help?
