Does anybody ever split the screen vertically?

What value does it give you, if you do?

It doesn't seem to serve much of a purpose, for me, and it only jumbles up the information.

Depends on the layout of the data-entry fields on the window.  If your data-entry fields are organized in narrow columns it may be useful.

No, actually, I got grouchier and harder to deal with.  Mostly it was from unrelenting pressure and cumulative exhaustion that ran from the beginning of January until the end of May without a reasonable break period.

I did know more of what to expect about test day and paced myself better.
